We have had several meetings with the Regional
District of Nanaimo and Ministry of Transportation &
Infrastructure to begin preparing the zoning amendments (ZA) and phased development agreement (PDA). There are still many discussions and preparations yet to undertake, but once the ZA and PDA ready to go to public consultation, we will be sure to inform community members of the dates. For more information on the ZA and PDA process, please read our last newsletter.

As part of our commitment to keep the community informed about the implementation of the Schooner Cove and Lakes District Neighbourhood Plans, we are posting status updates at the end of each month here on the website. Of course, if there's breaking news we'll let you know as soon as possible by newsletter, but please continue to check the web site regularly as well.
